Fires in auto recycling facilities are far more common than most people realize, and they are almost always tied to familiar materials and everyday work habits rather than freak accidents. This first ARA fire prevention module explains how fuels, lubricants, plastics, rubber, and especially lithium batteries combine with hot work like welding or grinding to create a constant risk, then shows how simple housekeeping, visible fire extinguishers, and clear emergency exits dramatically reduce the chance of a catastrophe.
